As the Asian Swing begins, all eyes now lay on the year end championships in Istanbul. Here is a predicted list:
1. Serena Williams - Already qualified
2. Victoria Azarenka - Already qualified
3. Maria Sharapova - Will qualify. Looked solid the first half of the year.
4. Agnieszka Radwanska - Consisteny is the key for the Pole. Must stay 4th of the list due to this factor.
5. Li Na - Has played extreemely well this year. Has become a better player.
6. Sara Errani - Hasn't had success at the Grand Slams. But has had a very solid year. Especially on Clay.
7. Petra Kvitova - Has played a lot of tournaments this year, therefore, finds herself in this number. Jankovic may pass her. All and all, she has had an in and out year.
8. Jelena Jankovic - She is playing better and Slowly climbing up the rankings. Due to the good results during the year, she finds herself on this list.
OTHER CONTENDORS:
Roberta Vinci, Sloane Stephens and Simona Halep. Any one or two of these 3 may take Kvitova's and Jankovic's place.
